When Bob Lissner and his associates first applied for Cold Springs' annexation into Reno, I e-mailed County Commissioner Bonnie Weber with my concerns for our endangered rural lifestyle.

At the time, Ms. Weber replied, "I will not sell you out."

Now Ms. Weber has voted to roll over for Reno's land greed and has accepted thousands of dollars from developers. She explains it away with semantics of "listening" to those who will turn Cold Springs into Reno North, building 6,752 houses on land zoned for 297 homes.

A few years ago, we voted out Joanne Bond because we felt she listened more to developers than to her constituents; have a care, Bonnie Weber.
